The latest 15-day outlook for the probability of LESS THAN 0.5" of total precipitation continues to show very dry conditions in the Plains that extend into the Western Cornbelt. It is much wetter (and stormier) in the Delta/MidSouth/Midwest/Great Lakes/Northeast. Most of the Southwest is very dry too due to the presence of the Pacific High.
Quick note. Watch Montana through the Northern Plains into the Great Lakes over the next 2 weeks for the potential for heavy snows.
